How it works
Super Cruise is the most-advanced hands-free driving aid that allows you to travel along over 130,000 miles of compatible roadways, completely hands-free.
No, Super Cruise does not “drive” the vehicle, but it does control acceleration and deceleration while you drive hands-free, so long as you remain an attentive driver.
Super Cruise can be initiated on any roadway that is separated from opposing traffic, and there are currently over 130,000 miles of Super Cruise-compatible roads in North America. Enjoy hands-free driving in your 2022 Bolt EUV equipped with Super Cruise.
As with anything, there are limitations. Super Cruise will not be able to be engaged while Teen Driver is active, and it is not recommended to be used in construction zones, tunnels, or inclement weather conditions. Exercise discretion when using Super Cruise.
Super Cruise works thanks to a combination of technology, including GPS, real-time cameras, LiDar mapping, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Lane Sensing Camera. All of these features integrate seamlessly together and allow for a wonderful, hands-free driving experience.
Disengaging Super Cruise is fairly simple, all you have to do is place your hands on the steering wheel and engage the brake pedal. You can also disengage it by repeating this same process and toggling the Super Cruise button.
No, Super Cruise is not a crash avoidance or pedestrian braking system. You must remain alert and attentive at all times while using Super Cruise, as you may have to intervene in the event of an impending collision or accident.
Simply begin to steer and Super Cruise will automatically disengage, causing the light bar to pulse a blue color.
Super Cruise will use your current vehicle speed at the time it is engaged, unless you were already using Adaptive Cruise Control on a set speed, in that event, it will use that speed.
Super Cruise is a complicated system, so it is recommended to only have your vehicle serviced by certified technicians, which are most commonly found at Chevrolet dealerships. If you need servicing on your All-New Bolt EUV or Super Cruise system, stop by today here at Champion Chevrolet of Howell, as our certified technicians are standing by to help you.
Believe it or not, Super Cruise actively keeps your vehicle in the center of the lane, with strict tolerances of only (+/- 4 inches). If you feel like you’re not in the center of the lane, it’s typically because we don’t sit in the center of the vehicle and our perception of the center is slightly skewed. This should cause no alarm, as a properly functioning Super Cruise system will keep you firmly in the center of the lane.

One Pedal Driving allows you to drive with one pedal for both acceleration and deceleration and is even capable of bringing your All-New Bolt EUV to a complete stop, all while charging your battery via regenerative braking.
When you engage Sport Mode on your All-New Bolt EUV, you’ll experience far better steering and handling, along with swift acceleration.
Thanks to its full-electric motor, the All-New Bolt EUV has near-instantaneous torque and can go from 0 to 60 in just 7 seconds.
